Security Suite Removal Anyone Can Try
Are you troubled by a slow running PC? Does it seem to take forever to open a program or are you experiencing internet connections that just go off and on? This may be due to Security Suite, a virus that presents itself as anti-virus software but is actually malware that can harm your computer. If this is the case, you will need to remove Security Suite soon to prevent further damage.
Security Suite is a virus that spreads throughout your system, searching for vital personal information such as email addresses, stored log-in data and passwords, or even critical financial records which it sends out to the creators of this spyware. The information gathered can then be sold to people needing this type of information for nefarious purposes. So it is vital that you get rid of Security Suite the moment it gains access to your system. But you cant just uninstall Security Suite to resolve the issue. Because it is a virus, it can be very hard to remove with just the traditional method.
Prevention is still the best strategy if you dont want to have to delete Security Suite. If you still dont have it, there are a number of activities you shouldnt be doing to stay away from getting infected. Here are a few recommendations:
- Never exchange files using P2P programs such as eMule and LimeWire as they expose your system to unprotected users. The virus can be transmitted through these programs.
- Dont visit websites that you are not quite familiar with. Websites are used by these sly Malware developers as traps to hijack your browser.
- Ensure your system is equipped with real time anti-spyware protection. They come in handy especially when you have to use Adobe software and plug-ins while connected to the internet.
Malware initially attempt to invade your system with a series of pop-ups, alerting you of a potential virus threat. A pop-up window will typically advise you to download a specified virus removal software to correct the issue. This signals that your browser has already been hijacked and downloading the recommended software on the pop-up will be a very big mistake.
It is impossible to simply delete Security Suite as this is a vicious bug that spreads deeply into the inner recesses of your system. Security Suite removal entails a harrowing step-by-step process the average computer user knows nothing about:
- You will have to search among system files with the .exe or .bat extensions. These are file extensions spawned by the virus and you have to completely delete these.
- Virus-related .dll and .lnk files will also be hanging around your system and you will also have to remove them.
- You will have to correct your registry by removing virus-related material in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and HKEY_CURRENT_USER folders.
It will take an expert to carry out a successful malware removal manually. The average user usually ends up deleting important files or programs as they attempt to correct the problem themselves. Even computer experts rely on good virus removal software to remove Security Suite. Its a hassle-free way to get the job done and is a lot safer and more reliable than manual removal. So youre protected from an unintended systems crash due to deleting something that you shouldnt have. Virus removal software also offers you long-term protection against future malware threats that may attempt to invade your system.

WordPress Styles
If you decided to install WordPress as your business or personal site, I expect that you will want to jazz it up a bit as the default theme is very boring. You can take this opportunity to make a statement and imprint your own personality onto your site! I think you will enjoy this process very much, as I always do, and it brings a sense of real pleasure when you look at the finished product.
Prior to selecting a theme template, you need to make a decision as to whether you want to put ads on your site and if so, where do you want them to go. Once your site is set up completely, there will also be a certain amount of necessary information about the site, for instance, page titles, categories, a search box, a list of archived posts, etc., which means that you will want all of these utilities listed tidily together in one place (usually down one side).
If you have decided to have ads also, you have the option of putting them above all the necessaries, (a lot of people won't scroll down, so if you want to use ads they need to be in direct line of sight when someone first arrives on your page). In this case you would want a 2-column theme, or if you want to give the ads a space of their own, this will mean, probably, a 3-column theme.
There are different views about whether you should place ads on your site at all. Some people feel they are a distraction to people that can cause your visitor to click away from your site and they may never come back. Other people think they have the potential to be a good way of earning some extra income. With regard to promoting products or services that you personally use and endorse, an option is having a page specially set up for them.
Another thing that needs some thought is the colour of the theme's text box. If you use a theme with a dark-coloured text box it can make reading difficult. I must say, however many of the dark-coloured themes have real pizzazz!
Another thing to realize is that some themes dont allow you to schedule posts so you need to keep this in mind when selecting your theme.
Changing the Theme from inside WordPress
Click on the 'Appearance' tab, then 'Themes', then click on 'Add New Theme'. The next page will give you all sorts of filters using which you can narrow down your search for a theme. I personally like to have a quick look at them all listing down the ones I particularly like (name and page #), then eliminate until I have the one I like best of all. I also like to check out the Details for each one to see how well they have been rated; I figure that the more stars they have probably the less trouble people have had with them, and I will avoid trouble everywhere I can!
After you have selected your new theme, click on 'Install'. After installing your new theme, you must click on the Activatelink.
You can change your theme another way, too, but you must upload the files to do it. Installing your theme from within WordPress is by far the easiest and most simple method of changing how your site looks.
Installing a Theme from Other Sites
You can get WordPress themes, for free or for a price, from various sites, and there are thousands of themes to choose from. Do a quick search on your browser and see the results that you get! Once you have selected the theme you want, you will download it, unzip it and save it to an easy-to-find, easy-to-access location on your hard drive.
You have to have a File Transfer Protocol manager, which is just a program that will upload files to your domain host. Filezilla is available, free, from its website:filezilla-project.org
Logging in to Filezilla is simply a matter of entering your domain name into the Host section, then use your cPanel Username and Password. Hit Quickconnect.
You will need to locate the folder which has your theme in it, on the left-hand side of the screen, then you have to shift the whole folder over onto the right-hand side, which is your hosting account. This is how to do it:
Click on the WWW folder, then double click on the folder for your site (it will have the domain name you chose for your new site.
Now double click on the wp-content folder - once that has opened, double click on the themes folder. You are going to drag your new theme from the left side of the screen to this Themes folder on the right side. The left side of the screen is your hard drive and the right side is your hosting side, so your new theme is being dragged from your hard drive to your hosting so that it is accessible to your WordPress website.
If you have uploaded your theme correctly, when you log in to your WordPress Admin area your new theme should appear when you click on the Appearances tab and choose Themes.
You can see a screenshot of how your new theme will look by clicking on it. Click on Activate Theme and you are finished.
Congratulations, you have installed a new theme on your WordPress site!

10 Tips For Booking Hotels
You may be a frequent traveller, or someone whose not used to booking hotels, but there are always a few things to keep in mind when finding a hotel room...
1. Choose a hotel by location and distance. It's easy and convenient to locate hotels on the internet and sites allow you to search by distance from your destination.
2. Star ratings are a good indication of the quality and the services you can expect a hotel to provide. Two star is basic accommodation, five star will be luxury with spas, swimming pools, a higher staff-to-guest ratio.
3. Book online. The best rates are distributed online and with so much information available its easy to find an ideal hotel at the right price in the right place.
4. Read reviews. Book recommended hotels. Comments by previous guests are a good indication and guide to follow in choosing hotels.
5. The cheapest isn't always the best option. Its tempting to book the cheapest hotel you can find, but if you want a good experience it may be worth paying a little more.
6. Compare rates. Price comparison websites give you information at your fingertips to find bargain rates, and good value compared to other similar hotels.
7. Book with a brand name you can trust. You know what you will get when checking in because they have standardised the brand and the experience and you can book with confidence.
8. Check real time availability. Check if a hotel is busy, if its popular then its probably good.
9. See photos. Hotels will give a good impression in printed marketing and promotional material and descriptions, but a photo is worth a thousand words.
10. Find secure booking online. Look for the lock symbol in your browser when proceeding to make your booking, the site looks after and encrypts your information, keeping your details safe.

How To Recognize Email Fraud
Fighting spam is a daunting task, ask any anti-scam website owner, and they will tell you, it's hard work keeping up with the scam emails out there. I believe the best defense is using a spam filter program on Outlook and email server exchangers, but out in the free email account world, you need to rely on yourself to tell if that email from your "bank" is a real one or a fake.
So lets break down a recent email from a scam artist found on one of my favorite Anti-scam sites out there.
Dear Valued Customer:We recently have determined that different computers have logged in your Bank of America Online Banking account, and multiple password failures were present before the logons. We now need you to re-confirm your account information to us. If this is not completed within 24 hours, we will be forced to suspend your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes. We thank you for your cooperation in this manner. 1. No matter what bank you have a account with, no bank is ever going to email you this sort of request. Never. They will have contacted you by phone or would have made contact with you via any other means other than a email. Remember that, because no matter what bank you use, you would never be asked to verify it in this way for the reasons stated.
2. Drag your mouse over the link supplied in the email, and look at the bottom of your browser, the address where you would be re-directed to doesn't match up to the real website you should be directed to. This is also another important identification mark of the scam artist. Links they supply will typically never actually take you to the real website, unless they mess up in the formulating of the email before sending it to you, which has happened.
3. If this was a real email from your bank, they would have addressed you as Mr or Mrs Soandso, not with a generic "Valued Customer". Most banks use software that title the email to the actual name of the account holder. This is another tell tail sign.
4. No phone number. That is a great way to identify a scam email, simply because there is no way for them to know who is going to read this email, and where you might live. They are rolling the dice with this form of email, hoping you might actually have a account with this bank, and that you are not smart enough to know it's a scam.
Also, if they had included a phone number, would you be willing to call Nigeria about your bank account in the US?
5. Grammar. This is a dead give away. 99% of the scam emails I have read over the years lack one important factor, professional language and writing. "To lift up this restriction" and "login into your account" are just two small hints out of the dozens easily seen in the letter. Do you think one of America's largest banks is going to send out emails to their customers with more grammatical errors then a four year olds "What I did last Summer" essay?
6. Why would your bank want your SS# if you already are an account holder? Your bank would have this on file, and have no need to have you tell them for a second time.
7. The number one, most important piece of information I can point out is that if you did get this email, why would it be in your junk folder and marked as spam? Banks like this one pay a good sum of money to make sure their emails are never labeled as spam.
So there you have it, a few inside pieces of information from one of America's biggest anti-scam experts. Take care in how you handle and read your emails, and always exercise caution!
